TREATMENT OPTIONS

Spider veins are only treatable with sclerotherapy or injection using a special medication – sclerosant, which causes the small veins to collapse and disappear over time. The procedure is relatively painless, takes a few minutes to do and is associated with few side effects. Larger varicose veins can be treated by a number of different options including surgery, endovenous laser and sclerotherapy.
